Athgarvan Footpath Must be a Priority

Speaking at a meeting of KCC’s Kildare Area Committee, local FG Councillor, Tony O’Donnell, has once again called for the provision of a footpath from Mountain View to Athgarvan NS as a matter of priority.

Urgent need for footpath in Athgarvan

There is an urgent need for a new footpath in Athgarvan, according to Cllr. Tony O’Donnell.

Local residents currently lack a footpath connecting the village to the school, and parents must either walk children along a dangerous bending road, or resort to driving their children to school. A footpath currently runs from the crossroads at the Athgarvan Inn to the Mountain View [...]
